Introducing FluentBoards: What It Is, Why We Built It, and Where It’s Headed

Hey, this is Shahjahan Jewel, CEO of WPManageNinja, a company that kicked off with the sole intention of serving the WordPress community. Since day one, our goal has been simple:

Now, looking back and seeing our plugins help over 750k+ businesses in 190+ countries, I just wonder, ‘Wow, we’re really making a difference for our community!’

But you know what? We’re not stopping here!  And, today I’m here to introduce you to FluentBoards – a project management plugin specially curated for WordPress!

In this blog, I’ll discuss what it is, why we built it, its key features, and what we dream of accomplishing with it.

The Journey of WPManageNinja

Let’s hit the rewind button and travel back 9 years!

Back in 2015, our journey began as a technical service provider enterprise. We were fortunate to gather a team of dedicated problem-solvers unafraid of challenges. And, addressing issues soon became our favorite thing to do!

However, our endless curiosity didn’t let us be satisfied with what we were doing! We realized that we needed to bring real value to our actions. And this led us to start developing WordPress plugins! What followed?

Well, fast forward to today we have more than ten dynamic WordPress plugins that proudly serve over 750,000 businesses every day! 

Today, here in 2024, we are introducing yet another dynamic WordPress plugin: FluentBoards! But how did the idea for such a product cross our mind?

From Quest to Creation: The Birth of FluentBoards!

With hundreds of project management tools already available in the market and millions relying on them, why add another one to the mix?

No, my friend, we didn’t create this product just for the sake of it! Instead, strong reasons guided us in crafting this exceptional plugin.

Like hundreds of other businesses, we’ve been running our operations on WordPress since day one. We started with a small team of 4 to 5 members. 

But things have drastically changed since then, especially in the last 2-3 years! Our business has expanded, and so has our team. Today, we proudly boast a team of over a hundred members! 

And, with a team of this size and numerous ongoing projects, one thing became inevitable: disorganization!

So, we went in search of a project management tool to alleviate this hassle. While many great options were available in the market with dynamic features, they didn’t fully meet our needs.

Here is why:

• Platform switching was necessary to use the SAAS project management tool. I had to leave my WordPress dashboard to manage my projects. Isn’t that a significant trouble for any WordPress user?

• There were some WordPress project management plugins available too! Unfortunately, most of them either lacked features, had a complex UI, or needed to be more flexible to integrate well with our plugins!

So, we took matters into our own hands! We started building our own project management tool, equipped with modern features, a cutting-edge visual UI, and efficient team collaboration facilities. 

And the result?

We’ve been using FluentBoards for our business since June 2023, and since then, our team’s productivity has increased by 200%!

Why did We Build FluentBoards? 

Throughout the 9-year journey of WPManageNinja, one thing has remained constant! From day one until now, we’ve never stopped asking “why,” and that’s been the most important driving force that kept us going. 

Needless to say, FluentBoards is no exception! And here’s why we built FluentBoards:

FluentBoards is the Solution We Needed

Let’s be direct: FluentBoards wasn’t just built for you; it was built for us too!

When you manage a team of 100+ members with a dozen ongoing projects simultaneously, having an efficient project management tool is not just a necessity—it’s a must!

However, it’s ironic that most project management tools on the market failed to meet our needs:

• Most of them required platform switching due to being powered by SAAS

So, we decided to step forward and fill this gap with FluentBoards. And it’s so gratifying to see that we now have another plugin that will help WordPress users solve real business problems!
