Introduced Subtask Group
This is something you’ve been asking for a long time, and it’s finally here!
Managing large tasks with a never-ending list of subtasks can get overwhelming fast. That’s why we’re excited to introduce Subtask Grouping, a smarter way to organize your subtasks into clearly defined sections.
Why you’ll love it:
- Keeps subtasks visually separated and easier to digest
- Helps teams assign groups of work more efficiently
- Makes progress tracking more intuitive within a single task
- Perfect for complex deliverables like content production, product launches, event planning, and more
Instead of displaying all subtasks in a single long column under a parent task, you can now neatly organize them into logical groups like “Research,” “Design,” “Review,” or any custom label that fits your workflow.
Let’s say you’re managing a website redesign project. To launch it successfully, you’ll need collaboration from multiple teams – marketing, design, development, and QA.
With the Subtask Group feature, it’s now super simple to bring everyone on the same page.
Start by figuring out what needs to be done and which team is responsible for what. Then, open the task and on the right-hand panel, you’ll now find the new ‘Subtask’ option.

From there, create different groups for each team, like Marketing, Design, Development, etc, and add the relevant subtasks under each group.

See how clean and structured everything looks?

Want to move subtasks from one group to another? That’s possible too.
Simply drag the subtask to the group you want it in! Quick and easy!
And if you need to move multiple subtasks at once, just select them. A dropdown menu will appear, choose your desired group, hit the save button, and you’re done!

So now, ensuring accountability, avoiding overlaps, and staying on top of deadlines, especially in large projects, is easier than ever before!
Single Board Shortcode Functionality
Here comes another most requested feature!
You can now generate a shortcode for any specific board and embed it into your frontend portal, giving clients, team members, or stakeholders access to just that board without exposing your entire dashboard.
Why you’ll love it:
- Share only the relevant project with a client
- Create custom client portals with one board per project
- Perfect for freelancers, agencies, and customer support teams who want to maintain transparency without oversharing
Imagine you’re managing projects for multiple clients. Each client should only see their project, not your internal workflows or other clients’ data.
And, with this feature, it’s now very much possible!
Just click on the project info icon and copy the board shortcode.

Now go and paste it into the page where you want it displayed.

That’s it!

Your client will now see exactly what they need – no more, no less.
Accountability goes up, clutter goes down, and transparency has never looked better!
Custom Color Support for Stage Backgrounds
In our recent updates, we’ve focused on making your project dashboard not only more colorful but also more impactful.
We’ve already introduced infinite color customization options for backgrounds, task covers, board labels, and more.
And with this latest update, stage background customization gets a solid upgrade.

Previously, you could only choose stage colors from a limited set of predefined options.
But now, you can customize stage colors freely matching your brand colors perfectly and giving your workspace a truly personal touch!
Scroll to Top Functionality in Task Details Page
A small but impactful change. Think of it as a neat UX improvement.

We’ve added a “Jump to Top” button at the bottom of the task dashboard. So no matter how deep you’ve scrolled, just one click brings you right back to the top.
Simple, fast, and convenient!
